Admin Assistant / Construction Industry| Remote | UK Hours
Schedule: 35h per week - Flexible schedule between the client's business hours, 7 AM to 6 PM GMT

The company manages multiple active construction projects and prioritises accurate financial tracking and seamless administrative operations.
Job Description: You'll be the administrative backbone of a dynamic UK construction company, directly supporting their project operations and keeping everything running smoothly. This role puts you at the centre of project management, where you'll track costs, manage communications, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work directly with company leadership, gaining valuable construction industry experience while using your administrative skills to make a real impact on project success.
Responsibilities:
- Track multiple construction projects and monitor associated costs on a daily basis
- Input and update project cost data regularly to maintain accurate financial records
- Manage email correspondence and client communications professionally
- Create and process invoices for clients and vendors
- Source and order materials for construction projects, coordinating with suppliers
- Maintain project documentation and administrative records with attention to detail
- Support general day-to-day administrative tasks that keep operations flowing
- Collaborate directly with UK-based team members during business hours
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Proficiency with Trello for project management and/or QuickBooks for financial tracking is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Available during UK business hours (flexible between 7 AM to 6 PM UK time)
- Bonus if you have knowledge or understanding of the construction industry
- It helps if you're comfortable making phone calls for ordering and supplier coordination
