Accounting-Admin Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting Admin Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department following the Alagang Mahalaga way of life and by doing so, to ensure uninterrupted operations of the all companies. The role assists the Accounting Admin Officer in day-to-day operations, including document preparation, compliance monitoring, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure smooth and timely processing of accounting and administrative requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide assistance to the Accounting Department in administrative and clerical functions.
- Assist in the preparation, organization, and filing of accounting documents, contracts, insurance policies, permits, and other compliance records.
- Support the preparation and submission of documents required for bidding and accreditation with external organizations.
- Monitor and ensure timely renewal of government permits, licenses, business registrations, and insurance.
- Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and other third parties for documentation and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate internal requests and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as may be assigned by the Accounting Admin Officer or immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATION:
- Graduate of BS in Business Administration, or any related course.
- Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting or administrative support.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team environment.
