Job Title: Accounting Officer

Job Summary:

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's financial operations. This role covers general accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. The Accounting Officer plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's financial integrity and providing timely insights that support decision-making and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly/annual financial reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections.
  • Process payroll and ensure correct computation of salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government reporting requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
  • Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and petty cash fund.
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, payroll, and statutory reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
