The Strategic Planning and Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic planning processes within the organization. This role involves working closely with senior management to develop, implement, and monitor strategic goals and initiatives that align with the company's long-term objectives. The officer ensures that the organization's strategy is executed effectively, efficiently, and aligned with overall business goals, while also analyzing performance data to make informed recommendations for improvements. The role requires a strong ability to think analytically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with various teams across the organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term strategies and plans that support the organization's vision, mission, and overall objectives.
  • Ensure clear and measurable strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various departments and teams are available.
  • Guide and support the execution of strategic initiatives across different business units, ensuring that projects align with overall company goals.
  • Track the progress of strategic goals, using data analysis and reporting to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present reports on the progress of strategic initiatives, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended adjustments to senior management.
  • Evaluate and refine the strategic planning process, suggesting improvements to ensure that strategies remain agile and responsive to changing business needs.

Education, Licenses and Certificates:

  • Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any related course

Relevant Experience:

  • At least four (4) years' work experience in the same field
