About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer (QAQC) to join our dynamic team at LEVEL5 CONSTRUCTION SERVICES' in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a key member of our construction engineering division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our civil and structural projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough inspections and quality audits of construction materials, processes, and finished works to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, testing procedures, and inspection checklists to maintain the highest standards of workmanship
  • Prepare detailed quality assurance reports, documentation, and records to support project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, offering solutions to complex engineering challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve our quality management processes

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar quality assurance and control role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Certified as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer or equivalent certification is preferred
