Job Summary:

GAMA FOODS CORPORATION' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in Cagayan de Oro. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of critical civil engineering projects that support the company's growth and expansion initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing strategic direction and technical leadership for the civil engineering team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
  • Collaborating with cross-functional departments to identify and address infrastructure needs, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Preparing and reviewing design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications for various civil engineering projects
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • Mentoring and developing the skills of junior engineers and technicians within the team

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Professional registration as a Civil Engineer and a strong understanding of local and national building codes and regulations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects, from design to execution
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as structural design, site planning, and infrastructure development
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with external stakeholders
