Position: Inventory Assistant

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that our warehouse is well-organized and stocked with the necessary products. You will work closely with the Inventory Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and process incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damages

- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring that products are easily accessible

- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for restocking as needed

- Prepare and pack orders for shipment to clients

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products to clients

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions

- Identify and report any issues or concerns with inventory levels or product quality

- Assist with the implementation of new inventory management systems or processes

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or related field

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings
