The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all materials, supplies, and products are properly documented and stored. This role supports efficient operations by coordinating with purchasing and warehouse staff to ensure timely replenishment and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Key Responsibilities:- Record and update inventory data in the system or log sheets.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when reordering is needed.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing items are properly checked and documented.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom or storage area.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Assist in auditing and verifying inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding inventory needs and discrepancies.
- Follow company procedures for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
- At least a High School Diploma or College Level in any business-related course.
- Preferably with experience in inventory, warehousing, or storekeeping.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
