I. JOB DESCRIPTION

Information Technology and Network Manager

Direct reporting to the President / Managing Director for local operations; General Manager / Head of Management Information Systems in Isle of Man (IOM) for its Global Information Technology strategy, the Information Technology and Network Manager is tasked to Plan, Organize, Lead and Control the company's Information Technology resources and effectively achieve its business goals for the Manila based Doehle Companies.

II. REPORTING STRUCTURE

Ø Information Technology and Network Manager

Directly reports to the President / Managing Director for local operations and to General Manager / Head of Management Information Systems in Isle of Man (IOM) for Global Information Technology strategy.

III. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

ROLE – SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Management Tasks

  • · Develop annual budget and 5 year forecast in conjunction with Group IT
  • · Present annual budget and 5 year forecast to management
  • · Monitor actual vs. budget figures, escalating any material differences or projected differences
  • · Participate in regular management meetings
  • · Monitor and review SLA's and KPI's
  • · Ensure appropriate cover for business needs.
  • · Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to management team.

Operational Network Management Tasks

  • · Oversees the helpdesk system to ensure appropriate use
  • · Implement and maintain directory service infrastructure
  • · Oversee the management of user access.
  • · Authorise the use software applications.
  • · Oversee the monitoring of infrastructure operations.
  • · Ensure network backups are completed and tested
  • · Support and oversee the troubleshooting of network issues
  • · Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure
  • · Provide user training, support and documentation
  • · Plan and implement server upgrades in conjunction with Group IT
  • · Plan and implement workstation and printer upgrades
  • · Plan and implement Infrastructure maintenance
  • · Design, Implement and Maintain Voice systems
  • · Develop RFQs and RFBs for infrastructure systems
  • · Work with cyber security staff to ensure infrastructure compliance
  • · Engage and deliver Internal Projects from design, implementation, development and maintenance phases.
  • · Perform and provide IT Technical support and recommendation to internal and external clients.

Asset Management

  • · Participates in the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT related application and devices
  • · Observes due diligence in purchasing software, hardware and other IT related application and devices as directed by Superiors and as required by the Operations.
  • · Review, revise and implement IT asset management and maintenance.

Administrative Tasks : including attendance monitoring, annual performance appraisal of associates reporting directly, and other tasks that may be assigned by President / Managing Director and General Manager / Head of Management Information Systems in IOM.

VII. QUALIFICATIONS

  • · Graduate of Engineering (Electronics and Communication Engineer, Computer Engineering) or Information Technology course
  • · At least five (5) years hands-on work experience in a Senior Managerial role

IX. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • · At least Cisco CCNA certified with valid credential (within the last 3 years) or equivalent
  • · At least earned a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent
