Job Summary

The Treasury Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the company's daily cash flow, bank transactions, and fund disbursements. This role supports the Treasury team in maintaining liquidity, monitoring cash positions, and ensuring all treasury-related processes are carried out accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash Management & Monitoring

    • Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts.

    • Prepare and update daily cash position reports.

    • Assist in managing short-term funding requirements and interbank transfers.

  • Bank Transactions & Reconciliations

    • Process payments, including vendor disbursements, payroll funding, and statutory remittances.

    • Coordinate and monitor the timely execution of online banking transactions.

    • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and report discrepancies.

  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Ensure proper documentation of all treasury transactions and bank correspondences.

    • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly treasury reports.

    • Maintain an organized filing system of treasury-related documents.

  • Compliance & Internal Controls

    • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and banking regulations.

    • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

  • Relationship Management

    • Coordinate with partner banks for various requirements, including account openings, closings, and inquiries.

    • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Accounting, Operations, Procurement) for payment requests and cash requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a treasury, finance, or banking role (F&B or retail experience a plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems and online banking platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
