About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us expand our customer base and strengthen our market presence. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and has a passion for building meaningful business relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify, research, and engage with potential clients through outbound channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, events).
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.

Client Outreach & Engagement

  • Conduct discovery calls to gather relevant information and assess client fit.
  • Clearly articulate the company's products/services, value proposition, and competitive advantages.
  • Schedule appointments and demos for Account Executives or Sales Managers.

Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and messaging.
  • Provide feedback from client interactions to help improve product offerings and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.

CRM & Reporting

  • Accurately log all activities, interactions, and prospect details in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on weekly/monthly KPIs such as number of calls, meetings booked, and lead conversions.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and consistent communication with prospects.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development
  • Experience in [industry, e.g., SaaS, BPO, Finance] is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle objections and rejections professionally.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
