Offshore Operations Lead

We are seeking a high-performing and resourceful Offshore Operations Lead to establish and grow our Philippines-based support and back-office operations. This person will play a critical role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing a cross-functional team that supports our technical consulting, customer support, basic software development, and accounting processes.

You'll be our first hire in the Philippines, acting as a local leader and executor to lay the foundation for a scalable, high-performing offshore team.

Team Building & Recruitment

  • Identify staffing needs across key functional areas (e.g., tech support, accounting, development)
  • Lead hiring processes — job postings, interviews, onboarding, and training
  • Build an effective remote/hybrid team structure and manage local vendors or partners (if needed)

Operational Leadership

  • Design and implement scalable team processes and workflows
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Filipino team
  • Manage team performance, KPIs, and quality metrics
  • Ensure timely and high-quality support for global stakeholders (technical consulting, internal ops, light product development, etc.)
  • Build solid familiarity (purpose, benefits, key functionality, etc.) with company's FP&A software so that you can effectively communicate about the software when speaking to US or Philippine team members.

People Management & Culture

  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular check-ins, and support team development
  • Cultivate a collaborative and values-aligned work culture
  • Act as the liaison between offshore and the US-based HQ teams

Compliance & Administration

  • Coordinate with HR/payroll/EOR providers to ensure compliant hiring and compensation
  • Ensure legal and data security compliance in partnership with global leadership

Strategic Execution

  • Actively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and application of AI
  • Evaluate potential vendors, tools, or platforms to enhance offshore operations
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership on team performance and growth plans

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, shared services, outsourcing, or people leadership roles
  • Prior experience setting up or scaling teams in the Philippines
  • Strong recruiting and people management skills
  • Familiarity with technical support, basic software development, or back-office operations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, global, remote environments
  • Ability to work cross time-zones
  • High level of ownership and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to travel on as needed basis internationally
  • Willing to work on a flexible / graveyard schedule

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to technical consulting or SaaS businesses, especially ERP and/or FP&A tools
  • Background in process automation or using tools like Jira, Zendesk, HubSpot, Business Central, etc.
  • Understanding of Philippine labor laws, benefits, and compliance matters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php100, Php150,000.00 per month
