Accountant (Remote – Philippines Based)

As they are  grow, wthey are expanding the offshore team to support global operations — and is  looking for a skilled Accountant based in the Philippines to be part of this exciting journey.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO in Australia, you'll be responsible for supporting the company's end-to-end financial operations — from reporting and reconciliations to payroll and budgeting.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare accurate and timely sales and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including bank and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll, including superannuation payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all general ledger (GL) accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align financial operations with business goals.
  • Provide financial and administrative support to the CFO, including ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with MYOB Acumatica or similar accounting software (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
