- Accounts Payable: Process and record incoming invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist in managing customer payments, issuing receipts, and following up on overdue accounts.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring proper classification.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Miscellaneous: Handle other accounting-related tasks as needed, such as preparing financial analysis, assisting with budgeting, and providing administrative support to senior accounting staff.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Knowledge of tax regulations and basic tax compliance.
