About the Role:

As a CBRE People Generalist, you will be responsible for responding to, directing, solving, and answering advanced questions related to HR.

This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible primarily for conducting and monitoring compliance of background screening and Drug & Alcohol testing in US and Canada.

What You'll Do:

1. Background Screening and Drug/Alcohol Testing:

2. Conduct background screening and drug testing for US and Canada new hires and re-screening

3. Ensure global compliance with background screening and drug testing regulations

4. Global Screening Compliance

5. Run the Screening Champions Network and conduct internal audits

6. Prepare for client background screening audits

7. Generalist People Support

8. Provide customer service to employees

9. Support payroll, timesheet, and HR inquiries
10. Research and resolve issues using PeopleSoft and the company intranet
11. Collaborate with Senior People Business Partner on various initiatives

12. Process Improvement

13. Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems

14. Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or any equivalent Course with 3-5 years of experience as HR Generalist
• A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

• Amenable to work on a nightshift schedule (9:00PM to 6:00AM)
