Job Purpose

Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical knowledge and sales skills to offer the company's products and services to potential and existing customers. This role's focus is to understand customer needs, present solutions and contribute to overall sales process.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking and cold calling
  • Generate leads and build sales pipeline of potential clients

Sales and Product Presentation

  • Introduce the company to potential customers
  • Conduct product presentations including services offered
  • Address customer questions and concerns related to products and services
  • Attend, host and network with potential and existing customers at industry events

Technical Consultation

  • Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers during the sales process
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support Group and Sales Team to develop solutions the meet customer needs

Proposal Development

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and other commercial documents
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure that proposal align
  • Work closely with the TSG to ensure that proposals align with customer requirements

Sales Targets

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as set with Managers
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and activities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication
  • Understand client needs and provide customized solutions
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service
  • Assist Finance Department with collections when needed

Requirements :

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in sales, with track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheet
  • Email
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of industry-specific products/ services is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
