About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Line Cook to join our team at Best Reliable Resources' restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As the Head Line Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered to our customers. This is a full-time position that will require your expertise in leading and mentoring a team of line cooks.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the activities of the line cooks to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation
  2. Develop and implement daily production schedules and assign tasks to line cooks
  3. Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistency
  4. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and update menu items
  5. Train and develop line cooks to improve their culinary skills and efficiency
  6. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  7. Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed
  8. Foster a positive and productive work environment in the kitchen

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar supervisory role in a high-volume restaurant environment
  2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  5. Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop new menu items and optimize kitchen operations
  6. Proficient in using commercial kitchen equipment and tools
  7. Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to the hospitality industry
