The Assistant Production Planner supports the Production Planning team in coordinating manufacturing schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and products. The role involves close collaboration with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and minimize delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and updating daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
  • Track production output and report deviations from planned schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, work orders, and material usage.
  • Support in forecasting raw material requirements based on production plans.
  • Help resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or shortages by providing timely updates.
  • Participate in production meetings and assist in preparing planning reports and KPIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Basic knowledge of production workflows and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
