Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven IT Lead to oversee both software development and IT infrastructure operations. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems. The IT Lead will manage critical projects, mentor team members, and drive process improvements that directly support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor software developers and IT infrastructure staff.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Serve as the main liaison between IT and management, providing updates and strategic insights.

Software Development Oversight:

  • Manage the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Implement best practices in version control, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Infrastructure & Systems Administration:

  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Ensure uptime, security, and backup reliability across all IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including upgrades and optimizations.

Project & Process Management:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects involving both software and infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support robust business continuity strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' combined experience in software development and IT infrastructure management.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience in an IT role.
  • Strong expertise in development processes, system administration, and network operations.
  • Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git), networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and IT support tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of leading a high-performance IT team.
