About the role

R-II Builders Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Marikina City, Metro Manila. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of safe and efficient building structures for our diverse range of construction projects. What you'll be doing

  • Conducting structural analyses and design calculations to ensure the structural integrity and safety of building projects
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, and other engineers to develop and implement innovative structural solutions
  • Preparing detailed structural drawings, reports, and specifications in compliance with relevant building codes and standards
  • Monitoring construction progress to ensure adherence to structural design plans and resolving any on-site issues
  • Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in civil/structural engineering

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design and analysis of building structures
  • Proficiency in structural design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent
  • Strong technical skills in areas like structural analysis, load calculations, and design detailing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in interpreting and applying building codes and regulations
