Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:

  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  • Make calculations of load and stresses.
  • Prepare reports, structural design and drawing, Project Management, QS and S curve
  • Coordinate with Client and Marketing group regarding client's requirements.
  • Conduct inspections prior and during the project implementation to check condition and foundation.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable government standards and regulations.
  • Select appropriate construction materials.
  • Create BOQ and costing for project proposal
  • Understand and interpret geological studies.
  • Inspect and monitor works done by contractor.
  • Coordinate with Structural consultant about project details.
  • Create construction schedule and planning for proposal submission in coordination with Construction and Operation team.
  • Finalize BOQ for awarded projects in preparation for bid to supplier/contractor for Civil works.
  • Evaluate Civil works contractor and work hand in hand with Procurement to conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Sign & seal structural plan drawings. Calculation etc.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in design civil Engineer, specializing in Structural Engineering, master's degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years' previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong aptitude for creating detailed blueprints and instructions
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Creative and innovative thinker and planner

Deliverables:

  • BOQ
  • Structural report
  • Structural drawing
  • Approved drawings, specification, etc.
  • Signed structural plans and layout
  • Timely submission
