We are seeking a dedicated and experienced F&B Supervisor to join our team. This is a key position in the hospitality industry, typically found in restaurants, hotels, resorts, and catering companies. The F&B Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, maintaining high standards of quality, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff Supervision:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and support staff.
  • Schedule shifts and allocate duties, ensuring optimal staffing levels during peak hours and events.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide clear instructions to staff.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality, responding to guest feedback, and resolving any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day F&B operations, including restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service outlets.
  • Ensure smooth service flow, efficiency, and adherence to established service standards.
  • Menu Knowledge:
  • Possess a deep understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing.
  • Train and guide staff on menu offerings, specials, and upselling techniques.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and control inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and procurement to ensure timely restocking.
  • Guest Relations:
  • Interact with guests, addressing inquiries, special requests, and resolving complaints to maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist in managing the F&B department budget, including tracking expenses, revenue, and cost control measures.
  • Prepare reports, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide training and coaching to F&B staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and service etiquette.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and development within the team.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and staff training on safety protocols.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, private functions, and catering services.
  • Coordinate event details with clients and oversee the F&B team's performance during events.
  • Vendor Relations:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
  • Monitor pricing and negotiate contracts when necessary.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation:
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in F&B outlets.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining and service areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of proven experience in F&B operations, guest services, or hotel management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to be assigned in a remote location in Siargao or willing to relocate in Siargao.
