What You'll Do:

  • Prepare a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes with precision and consistency
  • Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet quality and hygiene standards
  • Fabricate and portion fish with accuracy and efficiency, following best practices in seafood handling
  • Manage inventory and maintain the freshness and quality of all sushi ingredients
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations
  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
  • Expertise in sushi preparation, knife handling, and Japanese culinary techniques
  • Strong skills in fish fabrication and butchery, with experience as a fishmonger an advantage
  • Deep knowledge of seafood safety, storage, and quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team environment
  • Passion for food presentation and culinary innovation
