We are searching for an exceptional Sushi Chef to join our talented culinary team at Sugureta Ventures Inc. in Makati City Metro Manila. As a full-time Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite sushi dishes that delight our discerning customers. What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and present high-quality sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies
  2. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  3. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative menu items and specials
  4. Maintain a clean and organised workstation
  5. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to any special requests
  6. Train and mentor junior chefs to uphold the quality and consistency of sushi production

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Sushi Chef.
  2. Thorough knowledge of traditional sushi preparation techniques and Japanese culinary traditions
  3. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
  4. Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  5. Passion for creating visually appealing and delicious sushi dishes
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  7. Food hygiene and safety certification
