Job Summary:

Operation and Maintenance Engineers oversee and supervise projects involving provision of potable water and disposal of wastewater and sewage. Conducts data gathering and spearhead the activities related to the testing and commissioning, guarantee run and process proving of all on-going projects. The O & M Engineer will be responsible in relaying critical information to the designated Project Manager / Engineer to be relayed to the client. The Engineer will also handle maintenance service request for existing projects from client and forward it to the contractors/suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and conduct testing and commissioning, guarantee run and process proving of all ongoing projects specific for electro-mechanical.
  • Establish procedures manual and work methodology relevant to the testing and commissioning, guarantee run and process proving works specific for electro-mechanical.
  • Coordinate and prepare the O&M Manual.
  • Monitor on-site activities in line with the operations manual. Report any electro mech concerns observed for troubleshooting and spearhead its rectification.
  • Coordinate with contractor/technology provider regarding electro-mechanical testing and inspection.
  • Assist other project team members in the provision and management of required project resources to ensure efficient project management (e.g. contract and contractor management and all other project requirements relative to testing and commissioning, guarantee run and process proving)

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably licensed
  • Minimum two (2) years applicable or relevant work experience
  • Exemplary work experience as an electro mech engineer preferably in water/wastewater project.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Familiarity and ability to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Aptitude for working collaboratively with multiple disciplines within teams and projects
  • Proven success in the areas of project management and supervision
  • Current certifications in applicable skills a plus
  • Knows how to drive and has a valid driver's license (for L300 and Motorcycle)
