HR GENERALIST
Job summary:
The human resources (HR) generalist assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the human resource office of a company, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. HR Generalist generally handle direct and indirect hiring of employees, contracts of manpower agencies, employee relations concerning indirect employees and timekeeping & monitoring. He assists in the training and development, benefits, compensation, and organizational development.
Job responsibilities:
Recruitment and selection (direct employee)
o Assess the manpower request of requesting departments for new positions and replacements of staffs to be served within the period of 60days from receipt of the approved MRF (Manpower Request Form).
o Performs sourcing of candidates through data bank, Indeed, Jobstreets ads and other social networks such as FB.
o Invites qualified applicants through phone/text messages and confirms their attendance during the scheduled zoom/face to face interview.
o Assists the HR Head during zoom interviews with applicants.
o Process applications, conducts preliminary interviews, conducts & evaluates pre- employment testing and endorse applicants to the head/ manager of requesting department.
o Handles the hiring of staff to Supervisor positions.
o Introduces the newly hired employee to the whole organization.
o Conducts orientation on company policies and procedures on newly hired employees.
o Assist in the orientation of the Employee Code of Conduct to newly hired employees if needed.
Manpower agency monitoring
o Receives and evaluates DTR/MRF of promodisers and workers
o Fills up vacancies on time for indirect employee hiring.
o Take down minutes during meeting with agencies.
Reports/monitor infractions of agency workers
o Addresses concerns regarding infractions incurred by agency workers by reporting them to the respective agencies, follow- ups actions taken to erring employees etc.
o Monitors the expiration of contracts of agencies. Informs the HR Head regarding the matter. Secures from concerned department the performance evaluation of the agency 60 days prior to the end of its contract.
o Ensures that the contract of agreement with the manpower agencies are reviewed and are in compliance law upon renewal of contracts.
Time keeping management
o Source for new manpower agencies to provide promodisers and skilled workers and schedules meeting with them together for interview and evaluation of the HR Head and Commercial Head.
o Performs manual and portal timekeeping of direct and indirect workers. Ensures that they are checked and submitted to the Accounting Department on time for payroll purposes.
o Generate data (time keeping) for payroll of weekly and monthly paid employees.
o Assist employees with payroll concerns such as non-payment of OT, leave etc.
o Liases with BIR to secure TIN of newly hired employees and other Company requirements relative to HR requirements (if there any).
Manpower/OB/201 FILE/TIN monitoring of direct hire
o Monitors the Manpower list of Direct employees. Secures manpower list/count of other branches when needed. Submits monthly report of Manpower.
o Monitors the following: Leaves, Official Business, Undertime, Half-day.
o Organizes and updates employee files, track employee progress, noting promotions, recognitions and policy violations and documenting them accordingly. Ensures that former employee files are maintained according to law.
Other HR related tasks
o Assist in the preparation and execution of different company events like Sports-fest, Christmas party, First Friday mass, distribution of uniforms and grocery items and other company related activities.
o Performs other duties that may be assigned by the HR Head from time to time.
Job responsibilities:
o Graduate in Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Human Resource Development Management.
oMust be two (2) years of work experience in this position is required.
o Proficient in Microsoft office applications, particularly in Excel and Word.
o Must have good communication skills and relate well with all levels in the organization.
o Possesses good time management skills, independent, flexible and able to work with less supervision.
o A multi- task person and has the ability to handle pressure.
o Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City
