Discovery Suites Manila is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our accounts receivable team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven track record of supervising a team, ensuring timely and accurate collection of all outstanding balances.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the AR staff to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collections and minimize bad debt.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Reservations, to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and accounts receivable performance metrics for management.
  • Ensure all accounts receivable procedures are in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or senior role within an Accounts Receivable or finance department is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
