  • Recommends and maintains the optimum number of people required for the specified areas through an objective analysis.
  • Provides guidance to the supervisor in the development and implementation of the different standard operational processes to achieve the company objectives.
  • Monitors, reviews, determines, and recommends the appropriate positions and number of personnel required; describes and defines their would-be roles and responsibilities to accomplish and achieve corporate business objectives based on the potential of existing areas.
  • Monitors, coaches, and mentors the middle management and key personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills to achieve soonest their optimum potential and to benefit all whom they serve.
  • Do periodic performance feedback / performance partnership among employees and formulate corrective actions for any deviations.
  • Reviews, validates, and endorses to the distributor owner manpower management and development programs and activities recommended by supervisors that will contribute to the achievement of the company's and principals' corporate business goals and objectives.
  • Recommends, for its sales force and their internal and external support groups, recognition and incentive programs; manpower management and development programs (such as team building activities, et al.) as a predetermined need and mutually agreed by principal and the distributor management.
  • Ensures that company policies and procedures and the required government regulations are fully understood and adhered to by the company and all its personnel.
  • Aligns the distributor company with its principal/s in upholding their corporate mission, vision, goals, strategies, objectives, and core values.
  • MANAGEMENT OF DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL
  • In the proper management of the COD; he develops and manages company's business plans for sales and distribution, logistics operations, and to include manpower management and development requirements (Admin and HRD). He also manages total operational costs.
  • Conceives and develops business strategies and plans in reference to market research, existing operational results, and from internal/external data and feedback.
  • Determines and recommends the necessary operational requirements such as, but not limited to, manpower (# of personnel and new positions required), logistics (# of trucks needed), warehouse space/location, office equipment, selling and merchandising tools, etc., to achieve the appropriate COD value service-structure based on the peculiarity of the area, accounts, and directions of the principal, such as the following:
  • Business goals
  • Penetrate new market/s
  • Aggressive approach in pipelining new products
  • Develop and nurture strong channel relationship so as to sustain a consistent and healthy business relationship and have the capability to manage concerns or conflicts among the different channel partners.
  • Knows the role of the dominant channel/s and how it affects the distribution and flow of goods in the area
