Main Duties

  • Valve Maintenance and Repair
  • Dismantle, clean, and reassemble different types of valves (gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, pressure relief, control valves, etc.).
  • Replace seals, gaskets, seats, or other worn-out parts.
  • Ensure valves operate properly and are leak-free.
  • Inspection and Testing
  • Conduct pressure and leak tests on valves using test benches or hydraulic testers.
  • Inspect valve condition and performance during shutdowns or scheduled maintenance.
  • Verify calibration and alignment of actuator mechanisms.
  • Installation and Alignment
  • Install valves on piping systems following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Align actuators, gearboxes, and control accessories.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
  • Follow maintenance schedules to avoid system downtime.
  • Troubleshoot valve malfunctions (e.g., sticking, leaks, poor pressure control).
  • Record all work in maintenance logs.
  • Coordination and Safety
  • Work closely with engineers, mechanics, and operations staff.
  • Follow strict safety procedures — especially for high-pressure steam or chemical systems.
  • Participate in plant shutdowns, overhauls, or turnarounds.

Durations: 2 MONTHS (Monday to Friday+OT)
