The Technician / Repairman shall be primarily responsible in ensuring the proper functioning and performance of drones and generator sets. This involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialized equipment (drones and gensets)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Equipment Inspection and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct regular inspections of agricultural drones and generator sets to identify issues, wear and tear, or potential malfunctions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and technical problems to determine necessary repairs.

Repair and Maintenance:

  • Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on agricultural drones, including propulsion systems, sensors, cameras, and flight controllers.
  • Service and maintain generator sets, including engines, fuel systems, electrical components, and cooling systems.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems, engines, and machinery.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and technical support to agricultural personnel and operators regarding the safe and effective use of drones and generator sets.
  • Offer guidance on preventive maintenance practices.

Upgrades and Modifications:

  • Stay updated on advancements in drone and generator set technology.
  • Suggest and implement equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior or the management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of electronics-related courses (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Vocational graduates under TESDA are also welcome to apply.
  • Experience in consumer electronics after-sales services is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in repairing and maintaining agricultural drones is a plus.
  • CAAP RPAS Controller Certification is a plus (however once hired, required to acquire this license/certification).
