We're seeking a culture-driven HR Coordinator to join our globally diverse team from the Philippines. This is EIC's first dedicated recruiting and HR support role, and you'll be instrumental in finding exceptional talent who embody our values while supporting the employee experience from hire to retire. What You'll Do:- Culture Champion: Serve as a guardian of EIC's culture by identifying candidates who naturally embody our eight core values and will thrive in our mission-driven environment
- Application Review & Screening: Review incoming applications across all roles (technical, sales, marketing, leadership) and conduct initial screenings to assess cultural fit and qualifications
- Candidate Experience: Create an exceptional, empathetic candidate journey that reflects EIC's values from first contact through offer acceptance
- Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates who align with our mission of creating economic impact in communities worldwide
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones, ensuring smooth experiences for both candidates and hiring teams
- Onboarding Excellence: Design and execute seamless onboarding experiences that help new team members feel welcomed, prepared, and excited to contribute
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment, administration, and employee questions with clarity and care
- HR Operations: Maintain employee records, assist with HR compliance, and support various people operations tasks
- Process Improvement: Use your curiosity and productivity mindset to identify and implement improvements to our recruiting and HR processes
- Central Time Collaboration: Work during hours that overlap with US Central Time to ensure real-time collaboration with hiring managers and leadership
- 2-3 years of recruiting or HR experience, ideally supporting US-based companies or SaaS organizations
- Cultural intuition - you can quickly assess whether candidates will thrive in our mission-driven, values-first environment
- Excellent English communication - both written and verbal, with ability to represent EIC professionally to candidates and employees
- US recruiting experience - you understand US hiring practices, employment norms, and how to source talent for American companies
- Detail-oriented approach - you handle sensitive information with integrity and never let important details slip through the cracks
- Empathy and authenticity - you genuinely care about candidate and employee experiences and approach every interaction with warmth
- Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable learning new HR systems, ATS platforms, and collaboration tools quickly
- Central Time availability - able to work hours that provide significant overlap with US Central Time Zone
- Bias for action - you're productive, proactive, and don't wait to be told what to do next
- Experience recruiting for technical roles (engineers, designers, QA)
- Background with go-to-market or sales hiring
- Familiarity with US benefits administration
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR, etc.)
- Understanding of remote-first company culture and distributed team dynamics
- Previous experience in mission-driven or social impact organizations
- Knowledge of economic development, small business support, or government sectors
