Technical Lead

Schedule: Monday to Friday (5:00AM - 2:00PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

This position is to lead the architectural design, development, implementation and management of our innovative AI/ML based web application. Leading a multi-disciplinary local and international team, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise software development for both B2B and B2C market segments.

Skills Required:

• 5 years' experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including React, React Native, , Python
• Strong experience with data management, including data modelling, schema definition, data analytics and database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly designing, building, and running solutions in AWS cloud with focus on scalability and reliability with serverless and event-driven architecture
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise architecture
• Experience in leading change within technology function in an organization with both B2C and B2B requirements

What will you do?

• Architecture and Design - Lead the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable system architectures for new and existing products and capabilities for AI/ML based products
• Documentation - Develop and support the maintenance of application documentation, including ensuring that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, practices and security protocols are documented and applied correctly.
• Planning, Implementation and Scheduling - Lead implementation of agreed technical solution, including development, integration, testing, sustainment, reporting and documentation. Conduct technical planning, estimation, scheduling, analysis and monitoring of tasks and activities across multiple projects.
• Team Leadership, Coordination & Agile Execution - Oversee and manage the development team, ensuring smooth
  
  execution of daily operations, sprint planning, and Agile best practices. Facilitate stand-ups, track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure cross-team collaboration with product managers and stakeholders. Provide mentorship, conduct performance reviews, and support team growth.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle & Strategy - Responsible for the product lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and continuous improvement. Define technical strategies, enforce best practices for security and scalability, manage risks, and represent the product in stakeholder discussions.
• Technology Innovation, Design and Review - Design and engineer solutions in alignment with latest industry trends and emerging technologies, including undertaking impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs for adoption where possible.
• Technical Guidance - Provide strategic technical guidance and governance to technical team members, C-suite leadership and external stakeholders on solution design, development and integration (including escalation as appropriate)
• Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) Management - Identify and manage risks, issues and opportunities in line with our practices.
• Communication Management - Undertake written and verbal communication to enable timely information flow with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle, security and documentation.
• Other Adhoc Support - Provide ad hoc support in support of other goals and objectives
