Job Summary:

The
Technical Lead (Section Head)
under the
Customer Data Program
will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of
Master Data Management (MDM)
solutions and integrations within the organization. The role is responsible for defining the technical architecture, ensuring system scalability, and aligning data management initiatives with enterprise objectives. The successful candidate must have
strong Informatica MDM experience
and proven leadership in managing technical teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Implementation

  • Define and implement
    MDM system architecture
    , including data models, workflows, and integrations.
  • Design and develop
    APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes
    for seamless data synchronization.
  • Lead the configuration and deployment of
    Informatica MDM solutions
    , ensuring best practices in data quality and integration.
  • Monitor and optimize
    system performance
    for scalability and efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive
    technical documentation
    and recommend tools or enhancements for continuous improvement.

Data Management & Governance

  • Support and enforce
    data governance frameworks
    for data creation, updates, and ownership.
  • Partner with data stewards to ensure
    compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
    .
  • Lead
    data quality initiatives
    to improve consistency and accuracy across master data domains.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage a
    technical team
    of developers, engineers, and analysts under the Customer Data Program.
  • Collaborate with IT, business, and governance teams to align with
    enterprise data strategies
    .
  • Communicate
    technical and governance concepts
    clearly to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering
    , or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate studies or professional certifications (e.g.,
    Informatica MDM certification, PMP, TOGAF, ITIL
    ) are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of
    8–10 years
    of relevant experience in
    data management, data engineering, or system architecture
    , with at least
    3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
    .
  • Must have hands-on experience with Informatica MDM
    — including configuration, data modeling, data integration, and workflow design.
  • Proven background in
    ETL design, API integration, and data pipeline development
    .
  • Experience in
    data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture
    within large-scale organizations (preferably in financial services, telecommunications, or similar industries).

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Informatica MDM
    and related components (such as Informatica Data Quality, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar tools).
  • Strong expertise in
    SQL
    ,
    Python
    , and
    data modeling
    for large datasets.
  • Familiarity with
    cloud-based data platforms
    (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
    microservices-based architectures
    is an advantage.
