Property and Supply Section Supervisor

The Supervisor of the Property and Supply Department is responsible for maintaining the right level of stocks, inventory of supplies and assets, and ensuring that all releases are authorized.

Key job results include availability of stocks, accurate and updated inventory records, purchasing plans, quality of supplies and minimum wastage.

PLANNING

  1. Organizes the activities of the section.

  2. 1.1. Arranges schedule of duties of the staff.

  3. 1.2. Ensures adequacy of personnel.
  4. 1.3. Prepares policies and standard operating procedures.
  5. 1.4. Plans for additional equipments and expansion of area or relocation.
  6. 1.5. Prepares purchase requisitions.

DOING / EXECUTION

  1. Provides information that helps the administrative manager in approving request for supplies.

  2. Oversees housekeeping .

  3. 3.1. Ensures the cleanliness of the premises at all times.

  4. 3.2. Schedules pest-control and maintenance activities.

  5. Submits various reportorial requirements.

  6. 4.1. Monthly usage report.

  7. 4.2. Annual report.

  8. Attends internal and external meetings and seminars when required.

  9. Performs other related functions assigned by superiors.

CHECKING/MONITORING

  1. Ensures that all properties of the foundation are properly labeled and documented.

  2. Evaluates the performance of subordinates.

  3. Ensures that the supplies and equipments purchased conform to specifications and quality standards.

  4. Ensures productivity and minimal wastage of supplies.

  5. Ensures that proper inventory handling and safety procedures are carried out.

  6. .Checks accuracy of inventory records through cycle counts. Conducts staff meetings

ACTING/ADJUSTING

  1. Analyzes reports on product deficiencies, complaints concerning personnel and suppliers, and consumption rate of the different departments

  2. Reviews and recommends changes in policies to improve operations.

Educational Qualification

· College Degree preferably BS Commerce major in Accounting

· Units in Masters Degree in Business Administration

Experience

· At least 3 years experience in any related field
