Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring compliance with OHS guidelines. Their role involves promoting a safe workplace, providing training, and investigating incidents to improve overall safety.

Job Description:

  • Conduct safety orientation for newly hired employees, suppliers/contractors and visitors.
  • Ensure execution of required safety trainings (either outsourced or internal trainings).
  • Recommend facilities and process improvement based on safety assessment/inspections.
  • Monitor safety projects and ensure that it is implemented and completed on agreed time and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance to permitting and reporting requirements of regulating Government Agency (i.e. DOLE, BFP, DENR, LLDA, LGUs, etc.).
  • Acts as site advisory in the application of health and safety programs to eliminate the hazards from workplace and correct unsafe work practices.
  • Conducts health and safety training programs for the employee and Management.
  • Adhere and implement Company Policies, Good Housekeeping, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and/or Program of the company.
  • To implement and promote occupational safety and health programs in the workplace.
  • Performed other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • With at least 2-5 years experience as EHS Officer in construction and  manufacturing environment
  • With experience in making Safety Programs (Conceptualization to Implementation)
  • Must be DOLE-accredited Safety Officer
  • With at least knowledge in safety standards, particularly in OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001
  • Willing to work onsite
