Franchise Sales and Marketing Officer
The Franchise Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end franchise sales program. This individual should be a well-seasoned sales and marketing professional with experience in public relations, public speaking and direct, and local franchise marketing. This position will oversee all functional areas of the franchise sales program and interact with management relative to program implementation.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Sourcing, initial interviewing and qualifying franchise applicants.
- Manage the sales process from initial response, follow-up to closing the sale.
- Follow up with prospects and arrange for the closing of the sale.
- Assure strict compliance with all laws related to franchise sales.
- Coordinate with existing franchisees to involve them in the sales process.
- Design on-going programs and support materials for franchisees. At the outset of the franchise program, this individual would assist franchisees with the design and implementation of their local advertising campaigns and in the development and approval of advertising materials for specific markets.
- Interface with advertising agencies to ensure efficient media use at the customer level and coordinate with management to ensure accountability.
- Coordinate with an external training officer, if any.
- Schedule, plan, and coordinate all training sessions, including arranging for the location, training materials, speakers, evaluations, etc.
