About the role
Heritage Multi-Office Products, Inc' is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and supporting the finance department in delivering accurate and timely reporting.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct regular audits and implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Provide support to the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with external auditors and government agencies as required
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices.
What we're looking for
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
