Overview

Join a leading online performance marketing organization as a Data Analytics Engineer / Tableau Developer. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the company. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights and visual narratives, contributing to the company's mission of ethical, innovative lead generation.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: 160,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Full-time

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday PST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that meet stakeholder requirements
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather data needs and deliver insights through advanced visualizations
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability through validation and rigorous testing processes
  • Optimize dashboard and report performance for a seamless user experience
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on Tableau features and best practices
  • Stay updated on new Tableau functionalities to continuously enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Tableau development and dashboard creation
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Experience with Google Suite tools such as GA, GTM, and Looker
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment
