We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain our data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring cost and compute efficiency, and enabling high-quality, curated datasets for analytics and data science. This role requires strong data engineering and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in both structured and unstructured data. You will work closely with stakeholders to define data-related requirements, support analytical needs, and ensure data quality and integrity across the systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize data ingestion pipelines, ensuring seamless movement of data from source systems to data infrastructure
  • Oversee and manage database infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Develop advanced SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load data efficiently across systems
  • Develop and optimize data transformation jobs to clean and structure data for analytical and business use
  • Monitor the health and performance of data pipelines, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliable data flow
  • Provide input to stakeholder requirements discussions, ensuring feasibility and alignment with data infrastructure and architecture
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all data systems and pipelines

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write advanced queries and scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, cloud data platforms, and big data technologies.
  • Experience with building and optimizing data pipelines.
