Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Data Engineer
with strong
cloud experience
to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. In this role, you will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines (batch and/or real-time)
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across multiple data sources
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role
  • Strong experience with SQL and data modeling concepts

  • Hands-on experience with cloud services:

  • AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda), or

  • Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS), or

  • GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage)

  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow, dbt, Glue, or similar

  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with data visualization or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines or analytics use cases
