The Payroll Staff is responsible for accurately preparing and processing employee compensation in compliance with company policies, government regulations, and established timelines. This position ensures that all employees are paid correctly and on time, with proper deductions and benefits reflected in each pay cycle. The role also supports the HR and Accounting departments by maintaining payroll records, assisting with audits, and handling employee inquiries related to salary and deductions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and process accurate payroll for all employees based on attendance and approved schedules.

  2. Compute salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

  3. Ensure timely remittance and reporting of government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR).

  4. Maintain and update payroll records, employee files, and related documentation.

  5. Verify and reconcile timekeeping data with attendance reports.

  6. Generate payslips, payroll summaries, and other related reports for management and accounting.

  7. Handle and respond to employee inquiries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.

  8. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll information at all times.

  9. Coordinate with HR and Accounting regarding new hires, resignations, and compensation adjustments.

  10. Assist during audits, report preparations, and year-end payroll activities such as tax annualization and issuance of BIR Form 2316.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or any related field.

  2. At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing or HR administration.

  3. Knowledgeable in government-mandated benefits and payroll-related laws (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR).

  4. Proficient in using MS Excel and payroll software or timekeeping systems.

  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in computations.

  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  9. Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  10. Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and a high level of professionalism.
