Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll ensure smooth financial operations by accurately recording payments, resolving customer deductions, and collaborating across teams to maintain efficient cash flow. Your precision and problem-solving skills will play a vital role in supporting global business success.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of a DEC (Diploma of Collegial Studies) in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work effectively with data, formulas, and spreadsheets
  • Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Adaptable team player with flexibility and initiative
  • AI knowledge is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role is an advantage

Your Daily Tasks

  • Accurately enter and post received payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and scanner deposits
  • Review and analyze customer deductions (chargebacks) to ensure proper documentation and understanding of contract terms
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues, claims, and debit notes promptly
  • Access customer portals to obtain deduction backup and enter disputes
  • Review claim deduction reports, ensuring all claims are properly entered and closed
  • Provide timely updates on overdue customer accounts and address any concerns that arise
