We are looking for a General Accounting Supervisor / Team Leader to oversee financial reporting, operations, cash flow, and compliance, ensuring accuracy, internal controls, and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. Accounting Operations:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Review journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.

3. Cash Flow & Budgeting:

  • Monitor cash flow, manage fund disbursements, and oversee financial planning.
  • Ensure timely payment of obligations, including payroll, taxes, and vendor payments.

4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

  • Implement and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency in accounting processes.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations.

6. Tax & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit government-mandated financial reports.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Knowledgeable in SAP, ERP, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and journal entries
  • Proficient in MS 365 and MS Office tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php27,000.00 per month
