Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant provides support to the Finance and Accounting Department by performing daily accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting in month-end and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and update financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process vouchers, receipts, invoices, and other accounting documents.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and verifying the accuracy of financial records.
  • Support in the preparation of financial reports and schedules for internal and external use.
  • Help maintain organized files of accounting documents and records.
  • Assist in monitoring payables and receivables.
  • Coordinate with other departments for necessary financial data.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related business course.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
