PRIMARY ROLE AND PURPOSE

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the overall review of the company's financial transactions and ensuring familiarity with financial reports. This role ensures that all accounting transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with the company's accounting policies and procedures, applicable accounting standards, and tax laws. The Accounting Supervisor also oversees the accounting team, supports management in financial decision-making, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Graduate of BS Accountancy

Graduate Studies : N/A

Licensure Examinations : CPA is an advantage

General Skills :

o Knowledgeable in MS Offices

o With at least 3-5 years relevant experience

o Highly analytical and detail-oriented

o Exceptional organizational skills

o Strong supervisory skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting staff to ensure high performance and adherence to deadlines.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the workflow of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training and development programs.
  • Review and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger balances.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned.
