Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Bookkeeper to join the client's expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse clients, primarily using QuickBooks Online, while also exploring specialized restaurant accounting software. As the company grows, you'll play a vital role in supporting expansion efforts, ensuring accuracy, and delivering top-quality financial services. This is a remote position that values collaboration, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
  • Master and utilize advanced restaurant-specific accounting software.
  • Perform accurate and timely bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring prompt payments and collections.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and insightful reports for clients.
  • Collaborate with the team on month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Adapt to new accounting tools and evolving best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement and standardization efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Prior experience with US-based accounting practices required.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn new software and adapt to evolving industry standards.
  • Experience with restaurant accounting is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
