About the role

FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION (FORMERLY SANKO FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION' is seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through non-voice messaging channels, ensuring our customers receive timely and effective support.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond to customer inquiries, requests and concerns via email, chat, and other non-voice messaging platforms
  2. Provide accurate and timely information to customers
  3. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or manager
  4. Document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records
  5. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and suggest process improvements
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or a similar non-voice role
  2. Strong written communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
  3. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  4. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  5. Proficient in using customer service software and computer applications
  6. A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service
