Job Description

As a Merchant Services Appointment Setter, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting businesses with cost-saving opportunities through optimized payment processing solutions. This challenging position combines consultative selling with strategic prospecting, allowing you to develop strong business relationships while working remotely with a supportive team. You'll be the first point of contact for business owners, using your professional communication skills to understand their needs and present opportunities for improved merchant services solutions. This role offers the perfect blend of independence and team collaboration, with the opportunity to directly impact business growth while working from your home office.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers
  • Execute a proven prospecting process to identify qualified opportunities
  • Navigate through gatekeepers professionally to reach key decision-makers
  • Build rapport with business owners through consultative conversations
  • Collect and analyze current merchant statements to identify savings opportunities
  • Schedule qualified appointments between prospects and senior advisors
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions in the company's CRM system
  • Meet or exceed daily activity metrics and weekly appointment goals
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the prospecting process
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of demonstrated success in B2B sales, cold calling, or appointment setting
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Experience calling into North American markets required
  • Strong English communication skills with clear phone presence
  • Professional home office setup with reliable high-speed internet
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital communication tools
  • Experience in financial services or merchant services preferred
  • Strong objection handling and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining high productivity
