POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Slot Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Slot Operations Department. This includes staffing, administration, training, discipline, guest experience, team development, planning and executing installations, preventive maintenance, sourcing, specification of, and procurement of equipment. The Director is also responsible for developing strategic objectives, revenue generation, protecting company assets, and ensuring smooth cooperation between departments such as Gaming Technical Services, IT, Table Games, and Casino Marketing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Contribute to providing a challenging and exciting environment for team members.
  2. Recognize and manage team member performance, addressing both positive behaviors and substandard performance.
  3. Maintain and update department policies and procedures, recommending changes as needed.
  4. Recommend strategic and operational improvements to enhance department performance.
  5. Oversee project planning and execution of casino changes, liaising with various departments.
  6. Prepare all Slot Machines PAGCOR submission documentation.
  7. Develop and maintain a comprehensive casino preventive maintenance schedule.
  8. Coordinate with external suppliers for gaming equipment, furniture, and accessories, including design and functionality.
  9. Assist in developing maintenance contracts and oversee outsourced maintenance work.
  10. Ensure timely delivery of gaming equipment through logistics management.
  11. Develop additional IGT reports to monitor and improve business operations.
  12. Investigate suspicious and negative hold machines.
  13. Oversee the responsibilities of Slots Operations Senior Manager and Area Managers, including training and rotation.
  14. Develop messaging systems for promotions and operational alerts.
  15. Oversee the hiring process and develop training programs for team members.
  16. Implement management policies related to employee discipline and transfers.

  5. Minimal policy breaches and sick leave.

  7. Prompt disciplinary actions and follow-ups.
  8. Timely completion of tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Experience

  1. At least three (3) years in management roles within significant gaming establishments.
  2. Extensive experience with gaming systems.
  3. Experience in the Philippine gaming environment is advantageous.

II. Education

Preferably tertiary qualifications.

III. Skills / Competencies

  1. Strong administrative skills.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email systems.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English; Filipino language skills are a plus.
  4. Sound financial analytical skills.

IV. Other Attributes

  1. Strong, positive motivational style.
  2. Respect for and interest in learning about different cultures.
