JOB SUMMARY

The E-Commerce Operations Manager is the dedicated owner of the operational backbone of our online business for Commonwealth and Carhartt WIP. This role ensures seamless execution across logistics, inventory, and back-end store operations—delivering premium digital retail standards through operational excellence.

This position owns e-commerce operational P&L health (logistics costs, COGS, and efficiency) but does not lead marketing or promotional strategy. The focus is strictly on logistics, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and system operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Commercial & Trading Leadership

  • Own the e-commerce P&L across all Framework brands (operations-focused)
  • Build and manage weekly and monthly trade plans covering sales, margin, inventory, traffic, and conversion
  • Monitor KPIs daily and lead weekly trade huddles with Brand Managers and Marketing
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams to align execution with brand DNA (equity-led, not discount-driven)

B. Logistics, Fulfillment & Operational Efficiency

  • Own end-to-end logistics operations, working closely with Warehouse, 3PL partners, and shipping carriers
  • Manage and optimize SLAs for fulfillment speed, shipping costs, and delivery performance
  • Own day-to-day health of e-commerce back-end systems, including integrations, checkout, and payment flows
  • Streamline returns and reverse logistics, managing fulfillment-related customer service escalations

C. Inventory Management & Cataloging

  • Ensure real-time inventory accuracy across online and in-store channels
  • Manage replenishment cadence and minimize stock discrepancies
  • Own product cataloging and stock activation, ensuring SKU, pricing, dimensions, & accuracy
  • Drive e-commerce-specific forecasting to optimize sell-through, stock levels, and size availability

D. Cross-Functional Coordination & Systems Alignment

  • Act as the operational liaison between Commercial, Marketing, Content, Buying, and Operations teams
  • Support product launches and campaign activations with technical readiness and inventory validation
  • Ensure systems are commercially ready for promotions and trade plans (pricing, allocation, inventory)
  • Provide the Buying team with e-commerce sell-through and operational insights
  • Produce weekly leadership reporting on SLAs, shipping costs, and fulfillment performance
  • Build and maintain SOPs and operational playbooks across all workflows

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree in any field is required, with business, commerce, supply chain, logistics, or engineering backgrounds preferred.
  • 5–8 years' experience in E-commerce Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain within a premium retail environment.
  • Strong track record in inventory synchronization across online and physical stores
  • Deep expertise in 3PL and carrier management, shipping cost optimization, and SLA governance
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, ERP/WMS integrations, and product data integrity
  • Experience with SAP inventory management systems is essential for this role.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable with forecasting and operational metrics
  • Process-driven leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
